Why is the odor of your feces more repugnant to others?

I asked this before and it got deleted, I have no idea why. This is a serious question, apparently there are some 5 year olds monitoring questions who think if the question is about fecal matter it must be a joke. The odor of the bacteria byproducts when you poop isn't pleasant but it's tolerable, whereas when it's someone else's it's much worse. What's the reason?
