Dual monitors no longer working?

I have been running dual monitors Windows 7 64 bit with a Radeon HD 5770 for almost a year now. Last week one of the monitors went blank. The machine still acts like it is connected to both (i.e. the machine recognizes both). I tried updating the driver, still nothing?
