I keep getting bored of pets...?

I love tarantulas and I have the responsibility, money, and permission to get one. I'm thing Chilean Rose Hair but I've heard that they get boring. I've had many pets before (gerbils, geckos, a turtle, etc.) but I seem to get pretty tired of them over time. I've done a lot of research. I've held Rose Hairs before and I fell in love with them. I really want a pet so that I have something to hold and live with, but I don't want to keep giving up on whatever pet I have! What should I do? I REALLY want a pet!!!
