Could I probably play Skyrim above console graphics?

I'm getting a Dell xps 17 with 8gb of ram, NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 555M 3GB graphics with Optimus, 2nd generation Intel® Core™ i7-2720QM processor 2.20 GHz with Turbo Boost 2.0 up to 3.30 GHz, with a 1080p monitor. This is also going to be hooked up to an external monitor, in which, while playing the game i will turn the laptop monitor off, so their will be only one monitor running. (monitor is 21" at 1080p).
